Bio

Mery Kasiman finished her Master Degree from Institut Musik Daya Indonesia in 2009 majoring in Arranging and Orchestration. Being a pianist, arranger, and composer  she leads her project from  Piano,Cello,Vocal Trio, Big Band Project, Woodwind and Trio Project. Her compositions is varied among the string quartet piece, suites for Cello, Flute, Glockenspiel, and Vocal, to Jazz Ensembles Piece with Brass and Woodwind and also Orchestra Piece. Recently she finished her new project "Glimpses", a set of compositions for Piano, Bass, Drums, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and was premiered at Teater Salihara April 22nd, 2012. Among the musician she has been work with are Aksan Sjuman, whom she joined as the keyboardist of Aksan Sjuman and The Committee of the Fest, also as orchestrator and copyist for Film Scoring works. Other musicians whose been worked together in different projects are Riza Arshad, Dewa Budjana, Barry Likumahuwa, Andien, Iwan Hasan, Anda Perdana.
